Tim Dever, Vice President - Estimating and Contract Services, has more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry.
Tim oversees the estimate process for Renier’s Design-Build Delivery Program, a process that allows for controlled costs, faster project delivery, reduced risk, improved quality and value. His estimate process begins with a conceptual evaluation of a project. Preliminary budget pricing follows and includes possible alternative methods of construction that are both cost-effective and help to expedite delivery of the project. Once a project enters the final design phase, Tim works with architects and engineers to assure the project stays within the original project budget. After completion of the construction documents, he orchestrates the bidding process and final cost estimates for owner review.
His areas of expertise include preparing estimates for auto dealerships, transportation facilities, commercial and industrial offices and warehouses, retail outlets, and restaurants. Tim is also an experienced estimator in assisted living and educational facilities.
He holds a degree in Construction Management from Columbus Technical Institute and is currently a course instructor and Outreach speaker at the Builders Exchange of Central Ohio.
Tim is an Ohio native and currently lives in Westerville.
