Michael G. MacKay has enjoyed a successful career in the construction industry since 1988. MacKay has experience in many phases of the construction process, including estimating, project management and has spent the last 10 years in sales and marketing.
As part of the sales team for Renier Construction, MacKay is responsible for sales and marketing for the commercial and industrial markets. He works to attract new clients as well as maintain relations with current and previous clients.
Prior to joining Renier, MacKay was a project manager for a construction company in Sandusky, Ohio for eight years. His areas of expertise in the construction field include industrial, office, and automobile dealerships. Since joining Renier, he has been instrumental in completing projects for Thirty One Gifts, Byers Automotive, Taylor Automotive, Genji Japanese Steakhouse, Grant Scope Center, Premier Toyota and Atrium Company.
MacKay is also experienced in the construction of aircraft hangars and pre-engineered buildings. He has worked with nationally recognized clients such as Nucor Steel, Ball Corporation and NetJets, Inc.
MacKay is actively involved in the community and is on the Board of Trustees for the Westerville Area Chamber of Commerce, is an active member of the Westerville Sunrise Rotary Club and serves on numerous committees for both organizations. He is also a Co-Chair for the Big Walnut Schools Development Committee.
MacKay received his bachelor's degree from Otterbein College in Business Administration and resides in Galena with his wife and two children.
