Joe Ross has enjoyed a successful career in the construction industry for more than 30 years, working for Renier Construction for 25 of those years.

Prior to joining Renier, Ross served six years in the United States Navy Seabees as a builder in the Naval Mobile Construction Battalion. Ross served tours of duty in Spain, Portugal and Guam as well as public works duty in Boston, Port Hueneme, Calif. and Gulfport, Miss.

Ross originally joined Renier as a Steel Erector in 1987 and found a passion and vision to lead projects and crews to maximum efficiency and potential. Due to his multiple successes and significant contributions Ross was promoted four times throughout the next fourteen years. From foreman to field operations manager, he has had the opportunity to work and learn numerous aspects of the business.

His proudest and most recent promotion was in 2001 to Vice President – General Manager. Ross manages Renier Services, Inc. (RSI) which provides in-house steel erection services as well as installation of foundations on select projects. While Renier Construction is RSI's priority customer, RSI also contracts for work from outside sources. For the past 10 years, Ross has worked diligently on diversifying RSI's field services. This endeavor resulted in the accomplishment of specialty services such as ACM panel installation and metal retrofit roofing for both conventional and metal buildings in need of a total roofing solution.

Ross enjoys working directly with project managers and project superintendents for technical support as well as coordination needs. He enjoys the challenges and successes of every project and the relationships with his clients, vendors and subcontractors.

Ross is a member of the Builder's Exchange of Central Ohio. A resident of Reynoldsburg, he is actively involved in the community. He's coached Pataskala Youth softball, baseball and basketball and has volunteered his time as a mentor with the Boy Scouts of America. Joe was a participant in a Renier community service project and was involved in constructing a cabin at Camp Oty'Okwa, to benefit Big Brothers-Big Sisters of Central Ohio.
